Lead Technician

I’m an Arizona native with a lifelong passion for animals. After spending several years in IT within corporate America, I decided to return to college to follow my true calling. While taking night and summer courses, I discovered the CVT program at Mesa Community College. After graduating and passing my board exams, I embarked on a new career path.

While I’m dedicated to preventative care to keep pets healthy and pain-free, my true passion lies in surgery. I am committed to delivering the best possible patient experience, treating each animal with the same care and compassion I would want for my own beloved fur babies.

My heart belongs to senior rescues, particularly cocker spaniels, and I’ve spent several years in general practice before joining the exceptional team at Metro Pet. I am excited to be part of Metro Pet, aligning with their vision and dedication to veterinary excellence.

Outside of work, I love exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with my family.

Clinic Manager

I was born and raised in upstate New York, but in May 2023, my family and I decided it was time for a change and moved to sunny Arizona! My love for animals began at a young age. Though I wasn’t allowed to have pets growing up, I found companionship in my stuffed animals, often pretending to be a veterinarian.

My journey in the veterinary field started in 1998 as an assistant/receptionist at a small, two-doctor practice, where the clinic quickly became like family. My thirst for knowledge and commitment to providing exceptional care to both clients and their pets led to my promotion as the office manager. Later, after relocating to Virginia, I took on the role of office manager at a large, fast-paced 10-doctor veterinary clinic. Their core values, mission, and vision helped shape me into the manager I am today.

Moving to Arizona was a significant change, but I was determined to find a clinic that felt like home, with a family-like atmosphere and core values like compassion, professionalism, respect, quality care, and communication. I found all of this at Metro Pet and am excited to be a part of their vision and growth.

In my spare time, I proudly serve as a “mom taxi” for my 11-year-old's extracurricular activities (and wouldn’t change a thing!). I also enjoy football, working out, reading, and spending quality time with my family.
